St. John Lutheran Church offers many adult small group opportunities. To learn more, please contact the church office.


Adult Forum
Sunday mornings at 9:45 am (September-May), downstairs.
A variety of subjects are explored; led by St. John pastors, members, and others.


Women & Wine

This group meets in the home of a member approximately once a month, usually on Thursday evenings 6-9 pm (but this varies depending on the host). Time & place is announced in the bulletin and newsletter.


MUGG (Men Under God’s Guidance)

Meets the second Monday of the month after work for food and fellowship.


YAH (Young at Heart)

A ministry for our seasoned members to connect in faith and fellowship. Often the 2nd Thursday of each month.


Foot Care Clinics

Providing fellowship and foot care performed by trained health personnel and volunteers. Helpful for those with foot health issues. Cost is $16, paid to Sanford Home Health Care – Fargo. Often the 3rd Tuesday of each month.


Women’s Bible Study Circles

Ruth Circle meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:30 pm at members’ homes.
Rachel Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at St. John at 9:30 am.


Dramatic Performance

The St. John Players present a play annually, usually in January. Contact the church office if you are interested in participating.


Yoga

Yoga poses and stretches for the body, mind and spirit; Mondays 10 am and 5:30 pm.


Quilting

Jambalaya Quilters meets Tuesdays at St. John at 6:30 pm with the purpose of sewing baptismal quilts given to those who are baptized at St. John.

Tuesday AM Quilters meets Tuesdays at St. John at 9:30 am with the purpose of creating full-size quilts.


Reconciling in Christ

This is a group working toward St. John being more welcoming of the LGBT community, and becoming a Reconciled in Christ congregation. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at St. John at 6:30.
